Hello Dahhhling! I’m Shayla Locklear and I’m not what you think.
My story is not one of rags to riches, although there are elements. I never started from the bottom, granted I’ve been knocked down to what felt like lower than the ground many times. I am a Women who decided at a young age to always take the road less traveled. I’m a wannabe Doctor turned Match Maker turned High-Performance Business and Marketing Consultant.
Tradition has never been my strong suit.
Back in my corporate career, I was known as “The Fixer.” Fortune 500 Companies would send me into new or underperforming locations and my job was to “fix” them. I would take underperforming and under-functioning locations and turn them into fully functional, overperforming profit machines! I’m the one that companies would hire and send in when nothing else was working. Call me the Olivia Pope of Small to Medium sized corporations.
When I left Corporate America to follow my dreams of entrepreneurship, I did so in a very non-traditional fashion. I purchased a Mattress Fundraising Franchise!
Since my initial jump into entrepreneurship six years ago, I have created, bought and sold several different companies. Currently, I am the Founder/Owner of ShaylaUnlmtd, EmailUnlmtd and Unlmtd Brands LLC. I teach high performance, service-based entrepreneurs and corporations worldwide how to grow, scale and add leverage inside of their businesses in non-traditional ways. I am passionate about personal development, using energy, soul and intuition in business, marketing, copywriting, and helping entrepreneurs build wealth and create their legacy through their businesses.
When I am not coaching/consulting/mentoring, you can find me being a mother to three fabulous children, playing the violin and guitar, reading, belting out ballads and broadway showtunes, teaching group fitness classes, traveling, drinking copious amounts of organic green juice, Starbucks coffee or wine and making plans to take over the world.
